When SMM opens the gates from 04-07 September 2018 in Hamburg, Germany, Navis will be presenting its connected suite of maritime solutions to ship owners, ship managers, liner operators and other members of the shipping industry for the first time at SMM. They will all meet in Hamburg’s Messehallen that host for the 28th time the leading international maritime trade fair with over 2,200 exhibitors and around 50,000 attendees from more than 120 countries.
In hall B6, at booth 317, Navis will introduce exciting product updates that foster the digitalization of the shipping industry. Following the SMM's "Digital Route", Navis is going to launch a new E-learning program for MACS3 for container vessels marking a certified standard for qualified MACS3 users.
In addition, Navis will introduce the concept of MACS3 Connected, a new services that provides calculation services in the cloud. Further topics to be discussed with the Navis experts at the booth will be emission compliance, performance management, and implementation of lashing rules 2017/2018 as well as updates about stowage planning of break bulk as well as for container vessels.
Last but not least, Navis has invited a talented graphical designer on site to get insight from show attendees about digital trends in ocean shipping and will create a visual display of shipping, digitalization and art reflecting the trade show's theme “Trends in SMMart Shipping.”
