By: JGrinold / Thu Jun 27 21:58:36 GMT 2019

Navis just finished up a successful TOC Europe 2019, which took place June 18-20, 2019 in Rotterdam.  During the course of the three-day global container supply chain event, Navis employees met with customers, presented at TECH TOCS and delivered demos at our exhibition booth. Navis charted the course for the Next Gen TOS, underpinned by the Navis SMART architecture and designed to unleash the power of data residing within terminal systems and across the ocean supply chain. Navis also launched 360 Managed Services, providing subscription-based services, enabling customers to tap into Navis' extensive expertise in container terminal operations.

Chuck Schneider, VP and General Manager, EMEA at Navis, shared the Navis vision for Next Gen TOS at TECH TOC seminar on the Future of TOS. Chuck defined key characters of Next Gen TOS as follows: lives in the cloud, moves from a monolith to a modular architecture to facilitate better collaboration across the container supply chain with standard interfaces for data sharing, is underpinned by the Navis SMART architecture and leverages artificial intelligence for continual learning, improvement and optimization.
